 Cyclone Biparjoy prepares to unleash its wrath upon the coastal regions. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has sounded the alarm with the potential to cause extensive damage, the looming threat has prompted a high-level review meeting led by none other than the esteemed Home Minister, Amit Shah.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi discuss with  CM Bhupendra Patel on Cyclone Biparjoy and inquired about the state’s preparedness. Prime Minister Narendra Modi assured CM Bhupendra Patel of all possible assistance from the Centre to deal with the cyclone. Patel tweeted that he briefed the PM about measures taken by the state government to evacuate people from coastal areas and to ensure their safety.


Evacuation and Relief Measures: The authorities have initiated large-scale evacuation measures to relocate vulnerable populations from cyclone-prone areas. The timely evacuation of residents from low-lying regions and coastal areas is crucial to prevent casualties and minimize the loss of life. Additionally, relief camps and emergency shelters are being set up to provide temporary accommodation, food, and medical assistance to those affected by the cyclone. The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) has been deployed in vulnerable regions to assist in rescue and relief operations.

The non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and local authorities are actively leveraging these platforms to provide updates, emergency helpline numbers, and safety guidelines to the public.
